So, I read every note that was sent for the past 2 years and just finished. I decided that deviants who requested to join up to 1 year ago would be added to the club. I think that anyone before that has probably forgotten about this club and if you still would like to be a part of this club, but have not been added please send me a note requesting to join
There were way too many submissions to upload and my computer cannot handle the stress of all the files. I'm looking into a new way that perhaps might be less time consuming and strenuous on any uploaders or me. So, if anyone has any suggestions please feel free to leave a comment or send a note!!
Also, still looking for any help!! And I'm thinking of having a contest for a new icon. Any takers??

Wow, it's been a year and half! I'm really sorry you guys. You have no clue how bad I feel for abandoning this club. I'm about to give the typical excuse of that I was really busy and literally had no time. But it is true. I didn't even log onto my own account for a year. So, I'm going to try and start the club back up again but I'm really going to need help. This club was getting hundreds of notes a day and I couldn't keep up with them and neither could ~Betzibu. So, give me about a week to sort through all of the notes and then this club will be back!! Also, any volunteers would be readily welcome and appreciated!
Once again, I love you guys and this club and I'm so sorry I left.

About?

The concept of "Unknown Photographers" is inspired by the Unknown Artists program and *theunknownartists, where many unknown artists can come together and have their art recognized. UA is a wonderful program but it is for all art medias; the Unknown Photographers is specifically for photographers to have their photographs noticed.

Here at UNKNOWN||Photographers, we strive for photographs that are not "the best" but our best. This group is not only for photographers to post their art, also to improve with the critques of others. You do not have to be a photographer to join as a "critic." At UNKNOWN||Photographers our aim is to not only show our accomplishments off but also to improve.


How to Join?

To join all you need to do is send a note to either ~unknownphotographers or ~crystalic-angel with the subject "Join" and which membership level you would like to be.
However there are a few requirements before you can join:

To become a UP (unknown photographer) you must have fewer than 150 watchers or less than 10,000 pageviews and you must be a photographer.
If you have over 150 watchers or more than 10,000 pageviews, feel free to join as a critic.
You can be both a critic and a UP.
Once you become a member, watch the club for updates.
Anyone can become a critic, even if you are not a photographer.
If you just want to be updated on the latest photography, just watch the club!

If you meet these requirements, please join!


Membership Levels

UP(unknown photographer): Has less than 150 watchers or less than 10,000 pageviews and loves photography. When a UP reaches either 150 watchers or 10,000 pageviews, they advance to the level of Senior UP.

Senior UP: Has exceeded the maximum amount of watchers and/or pageviews. At this level, one can no longer submit photos to be viewed but earns the right to vote for photographers to become part of the Monthly Feature. Also, Senior UPs can be asked to make administrative decisions and can become moderators. Senior UPs act as mentors towards the UP to help them achieve their goals.

Alpha UP: 2nd highest level only beneath UPA. These are chosen by ~crystalic-angel for many reasons and this position can also be awarded as a prize for contests. Alpha UPs are like Senior UPs except for the fact that they can still submit photographs.

UPA: This is the Unknown Photographers Administration level and the highest level one can reach. You do not have to be a Senior UP to become a UPA. UPAs are chosen by ~crystalic-angel. To become a UPA, you must be active, helpful and show a commendable attitude towards others in the club.

Critic: No limit on watchers or pageviews. This position is open to all artists and not just photographers. Can only submit photos if they are a UP too. If you submit a photo and you currently only have a Critic Membership you will be given the rank of UP also (if you fit the standards).

11/22:
Hey guys, these past few months have been really hectic for the UPA with our workload and school schedules. Right now, I'm opening up the positions of uploaders. ~Betzibu and I simply do not have the time to upload anymore. I am sorry that he has been pretty much on his own in this club and the club receives so many notes a day and so many submissions it is hard for 1 or 2 people to keep up with it. So in addition to opening up the position of uploader, the photo limit is going to have to be restrained even further. One photograph every 2 weeks. This also allows the members to enjoy the photographs more instead of thinking 'oh, just 100 more photos from UP'
I am very sorry for the long hiatus but hopefully these two measures will help increase the efficiency of the club

Hi, ~Betzibu here. Long time no update huh? The past months have been hectic. I have a lot to study for school, for the big exam next year and for the exam after. I apologize for leaving the club on hiatus for so much time, but I was really really busy, this exam being a very important step in my life. I think I'll have the time to update more on Sunday but until then please don't submit anything. I already have 183 notes to read. Thank you for the understanding.

My internet connection is working like a snail (to use gentle words ) so unfortunately these are the only updates for today, expect a lot more tomorow. Also, we'll be starting a new poll with the older deviations here on U||P and after that we'll start cleaning. More info tomorrow...

9/23:
Hi, ~Betzibu here. Sorry about the last two weeks but I was a bit busy preparing for my final year of school, which started last week . Starting the 1st of October I'll be very busy but I'll try to update as frequent as possible. I still have to catch up with all the submission requests so be patient, your deviations will be posted soon.

In other news, it's contest time - this will be a long one , you can submit your entries untill the 26th of October, the voting period will be until the 30th and the winning deviation will be featured until the end of the year. The theme of the contest will be Unknown. And this is not the only contest. More details in the Contest section above. Good luck...

EDIT: I was a bit in a hurry when I wrote today's update and some of you may have understood something else because of the lack of explanations. I appologise. The UNKNOWN||Photographers Deviant ID contest is about changing the club's current ID with the winning deviation. If you have further questions about the contests send them by note to my account ~Betzibu.

The deadline has passed and the winner of the Silhouette Contest is To The End of the World by =iamgoatman. His deviation will be featured untill the end of the month. Congratulations to all the participants. We'll announce the next contest theme soon.

9/1:
Guess what? I finished uploading the last of the deviations that were submitted before the club was put on hiatus. So if you submitted after that period, you'll have to resubmit. But submissions will officially be open tomorrow (Sunday) at 3:00 PM dA time.

8/31:
Hi guys, as you by now know, =crystalic-angel still has some problems that need to be taken care of so that means you'll be stuck with me untill she comes back. She does have a pretty busy schedule but, from time to time she'll check the club out. I wish her all well and good luck with the school year (God knows I'll need luck too).

So, first of all, sorry I didn't submit anything today but I was a bit busy with the members list which starting tomorrow will have a new layout. I've also updated some of the users that have reached the point where they became Senior UPs.

And about the Silhouette Contest, there is a problem that I must tell you about. I've counted the votes and To The End of the World by =iamgoatman seems to be the winner by one point ahead of Days Can Be Erased by =nickmid23. But, the last vote was made by a person who wasn't a member of U||P. It is true that she did sent us a join request but none of the admins could read it. We apologise for this and I think it's right that we consider this a tie and make another poll untill the 5th of September where members could vote their favourite of the two deviations. The winner's deviation will be featured untill the end of the month.

Hey guys, it's me, =crystalic-angel and I'm really sorry that I left the club for almost two months. I really did have some pretty big issues going on and they're not all resolved, and on top of that my 11th grade year has started and I've been loaded down with work and projects so just when I thought I could get on more...I can't. I'm really sorry to ~Betzibu who had to pick up my slack but I did update the gallery a bit to start getting back into things. Submissions still aren't open until we're completely caught up but that will be very, very soon. I promise If it isn't open by this Sunday you can come and annoy me on my userpage.
Also, I think everyone needs to go to ~Betzibu's page and leave him a really big thank you (I especially need to do this). So, I apologize once again and I promise that submissions will be open by Sunday!!!!!

Hi people, ~Betzibu here. I'm back from my holiday and I can now start updating. =crystalic-angel had a problem and had to put U||P on hiatus but that was almost two months ago. I hope everything is alright, I'll send her a message to see how she's doing. There was some action, from what I see, here not to long ago but I don't know if it was her or one of the other UPAs.

So, I should get back to business, please be patient because I have about 120 notes from you so that will take some time.

Also, I've made a template of how a contest feature deviation will look like after we start cleaning the older deviations ([link] . The monthly one will look the same, but those will take time to make too because of the fact we that we have to ask the Senior UPs, the Alpha UPs and the Critics to vote for their favourite photographs of every week until now. But all in due time.

EDIT: I'll first start with the "join" notes because it takes less to finish them all.
